Sarah Rosado is a self-taught artist based in Manhattan, New York, who was kind enough to email me a few shots of her work. Sarah is currently working on “Portrait Oats” her newest project with a focus on the most famous paintings created entirely from…oatmeal. Yes, oatmeal! “Creating this project was very exciting. Many long hours and hard work was put into it. However, it was the idea of using oats as a food medium to recreate some of the most amazing images of our old masters the real engine that drove me to challenge myself to do something different, new and fun.”
We’re glad she wasn’t listening when her mother told her not to play with her food.
