About the Partnership
Raw Femme and the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District are teaming up to provide artists and creatives a platform to lead engaging workshops that enrich our local community. From visual arts and music to fashion, film, and literature, these workshops provide a space for creatives to share their expertise, inspire learners of all ages, and leave a lasting impact on Las Vegas’ cultural landscape.
Thematic Workshops
Workshops will focus on celebrating meaningful cultural, educational, and creative themes, tied to the following monthly observances:

- Women’s History Month: Celebrate and honor the achievements of women throughout history through art, storytelling, and discussion.
- National Craft Month: Engage participants in hands-on creative activities, showcasing a variety of crafting techniques.
- Read an eBook Week/Nevada Reading Week: Promote literacy and the joy of reading through interactive workshops and discussions.
April
- National Library Week: Highlight the transformative role of libraries in communities through innovative and creative programming.
- National Poetry Month: Inspire participants to explore the art of poetry through writing and performance.
- El Día de los Niños: Celebrate children, families, and reading with culturally rich and engaging activities.
- Earth Day (April 22): Foster awareness and appreciation for the environment through sustainable and eco-friendly art projects.

- Asian American & Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander Heritage Month: Share cultural traditions and stories through creative workshops.
- Summer Challenge Launch: Kick off the library’s summer program with exciting, engaging activities for all ages. Theme to be announced.
- Mental Health Awareness Month: Use art as a tool for mindfulness, expression, and emotional well-being.
- Las Vegas Science Fest: Blend creativity and science with STEAM-focused workshops that captivate and inspire.
