Sad Robot’s unique enveloping and cinematic sound has enabled them to create their own voice in the indie rock scene. The Glendale-based duo consisting of Nicolas Perez and Kat Pawlak, recently revamped their sonic direction by leaking the first single, “Fear Me,” off their new album, Après Moi Le Déluge, set to drop on June 23rd. Kat’s vocals, low and smooth, vocalizes a lush atmosphere of both tragedy and serenity. But nothing compares to the lengthy build-up where her soaring vocal range leaves you with chills.
