Jasmine Van den Bogaerde aka Birdy is a young songstress with an old soul. Born and raised in Lymington, England to her concert pianist Mummy, Birdy learned to play piano at the age of six, and began writing her own music at the age of 7. Birdy currently studies at Priestlands School in Lymington, a small state school which specializes in performing and visual arts.
