Indie Songstress Siobhan Heard Releases ‘Heart-Beats: Vol. 1.’

Since Siobhan Heard’s debut release, Love In All Aspects, in 2016, life shifted. In early 2017, Siobhan lost her romantic and musical collaborator, Samantha Purple. Heart-Beats: Vol. I is the first project since and a heartfelt exploration of grief, memories, pain and early recovery. With collaborators Chucky Kim, EASTEND, and Sheldon Botler, Siobhan curated a devastating but triumphant and resonant return to the stage.

Texas-born and LA-raised, Siobhan Heard started singing as a child in her father’s church. Proximity to Los Angeles’ Leimert Park helped grow her musical influences and independent network while she studied classical and jazz voice in school.

Songs from Love In All Aspects, Siobhan’s debut project, scored semi-finalist nods from the International Songwriting Competition and Unsigned Only Music Competition in 2016. Siobhan’s performance credits include the world-famous Mint, the Federal Bar in North Hollywood, House of Blues Hollywood as well as opening for Lupe Fiasco and Murs.

Heart-Beats: Vol. 1. is a complex and beautifully handled collection that tackles Siobhan Heard”s experience of grieving the unexpected death of her romantic and musical partner Samantha Purple. The tone of the record reflects personal toughness and defiance in the face of deep heartache. Support this amazing babe!
